JAC Awarded the Queen's Award Posted July 2008

Queen's Award for Voluntary Service demonstrating the highest standards of volunteering This prestigious national honour is the equivalent to an MBE


JAC was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in a moving ceremony at The Oakwood Centre attended by almost 100 JAC staff, volunteers and supporters. The crystal trophy and certificate - signed by and including greeting from;the queen!;were presented to Sam Milligan - JAC Development Director;by the Lord Lieutenant, The Hon Mrs Bayliss JP.

Rehoboth opened by Zara Tindall Posted May 2014

Zara Tindall, the Queen's granddaughter and Olympic silver medalist ,officially opened the The Reboth Centre  - the focal point of JAC's work with young people in May 2014. The centre took over a year to build. Click here to see XN media's video report of how Rehoboth was built.

JAC Young People visit the Household Cavalry in London

Household Cavalry resized

Sue Kirby, the JAC Crowthorne Team Leader, rang the Household Cavalry and asked if the JAC young people could visit the them to learn and explore possible career options. On the 11th April twelve JAC young people had a tour of the stables. It included a talk, demonstration and lunch. They saw the Calvery in action.

They all thoroughly enjoyed the day and were very inspired!
